With the upgrade of the much super release Kindle Two which is meant to be better and sleeker than the Kindle 1, you may be asking your own person whether you should buy the Kindle 2 version or stay with the best selling Kindle 1. If that is the case then read on, this review will take you through the changes between the two versions of this fantastic epub and ebook display.

First just picking up to look at the 2 Kindles you'll see a lot of differences. The
Kindle Two is a lot thinner than its older model at only 9 mm thick and whileit feels the same as it was before so its now elegent to take out with you and around.

The display resolution is also the exact same at 600 x 800 but the latest version has better graphics engine so that you'll now get around sixteen shades of grey better than the four of the first Kindle.

This makes the text on the screen easier to view and quite . Of course the first version still had good viewing fonts and at first look you might not notice much of a difference, but after reading many pages you would appreciate the subtle crisper fonts. The back ground has also changed from a slight paper colour look in the first to a smooth flat plate in the second.

While the Kindle 2 is meant to be faster at changing pages
and overall speed, we can not say we noticed a significant changes between the other devices, after all it was not like Original Kindle model was sluggish - it was not at all..

The changes that were significant and are enough to justify considering an upgrading was the design changes in the Kindle 2 version. The power switch is now handy on the top of the Kindle 2 rather than the back which makes it much simples to turn it on/off. The vol control controls have also been moved to a flip switch now on the right hand side of the device.

The navigation system is now much more flexable with the 'next' button sitting exactly next where your thumb sits so you can easily turn the page and it feels more natural.

Overall the changes between Amazon's ebook reader 1 and 2 are enough but do improve your ebook consumption entertainment.
